Skills

As a doctor and as a Surgeon I have gone through an extensive period of training of eleven years duration after graduating from medical school

This training provided me with the knowledge and skills to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients on a daily basis, being my main specialty Trauma and Orthopaedics and dealing with any unexpected emergencies

Since then I have been practising with autonomy as a hand surgeon for the last 12 years as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing teams of up to twenty people and performing leadership roles

I have been a Clinical and Educational Supervisor to doctors in training for many years as well as an Appraiser

On top of this I have been an LNC member at my hospital for many years and a SAS doctor representative for the South on England

I was nominated to be the next SAS doctor tutor in my hospital

I have been involved over the years in multiple meetings, congresses and research and have a special interest in digital medicine since COVID19 pandemic as our practice changed dramatically at that stage and we had to find ways to still be able to help patients,
