- Whilst working for K9 Encounters I've been working in my local area to walk dogs for both the elderly or disabled as well as those who work jobs with long hours and don't have enough time to give their dogs the daily exercise they require.
- With this job I have to follow specific instructions from dog owners, ensuring personalised care and confidence that they will get the most out of their walk.
- Additionally, this has provided me with new knowledge and skills on how to work closely with animals catering to their needs as well as building a good repour in the neighbourhood and with the dog owners.

- Whilst working here I had to work directly with customers to ensure the best service both on the tills and helping with enquiries around the store.
- Additionally in the mornings and evenings, I was responsible for stocking shelves as well as stock clearance making sure that the storefront was tidy and ready for customers for the upcoming day.
- Furthermore, during this role, I was able to work both independently and as a team to get through the peak times, jumping on till when my peers were struggling and assisting where I could as a proactive team member.

- Each morning before school I would deliver newspapers and magazines around my local neighbourhood to those unable to get to the paper shop due to either age or disability.
- Because this role was before school I had to be up early each morning to collect the papers regardless of the weather. This helped develop and strengthen skills such as punctuality and reliability.
