Had my daughter in September 2007. During my maternity leave my employer of the day Nursery i managed asked if i was able to return to work as since leaving in July 2007 the nursery wasn't being ran properly by the current manager . Then returned with my daughter who was 6 months old back into full time work . However i found this extremely difficult with traveling and a baby etc , left after 3 months . Then helped them out the odd day to train a new manger at a sister nursery ready for Ofsted. This was also closer to our home. Left in January 2008 and became a full time stay a home parent and home maker until October 2013. which i thoroughly enjoyed

• I was employed to open the nursery for Leicester Montessori on my own and had to employ all the new staff , and set it up with new equipment and furnish .
• Worked with head office to create new polices and procedures
• The nursery ended up being a full 40 place day nursery
• The nursery also took in children in from the mother and baby unit above which were under social services
• administration for the nursery, polices and handled monthly fees
• Organised fun-filled activities that foster social interaction amongst children.
• Maintained clean and hygienic facilities, prioritizing health of children under care.
• Coordinated with external agencies for additional support services as needed by children or families.

• Started in jun 2001 as nursery nurse then the deputy left within a few months so i was offered a deputy Nursery manager position . The manager then went to manager another sister nursery and i was offered the manager job
• Managed parental concerns professionally whilst maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Handled recruitment process for new staff, ensuring best fit for nursery needs.

• I was asked to open a Nursery by a couple of head teachers who had no experience in childcare i opened it but unfortunately this did not work out due to them breaking severe ofsted regulations . i told them about this but it did not get sorted , therefore i resigned and informed relevant authorities

• Completed my 2 year Btec national diploma in childhood studies at college and was employed straight away as a Nursery nurse
• Participated actively in team meetings and stayed updated on latest childcare best practices.
• Improved fine motor skills in children by introducing age-appropriate crafting activities.
• Assisted with nap times which contributed to improved energy levels among students throughout the day.
