  • Ensured compliance with environmental regulations by conducting regular site inspections and audits.
  • Worked closely with stakeholders; streamlined communication regarding project progress.
  • Liaising with construction teams to ensure that the clean, dirty water and ground water management are implemented in line with the consents. This includes discharge consent, culverting of ditches/streams, piling, pump tests, diversions and abstractions.
  • Conducted investigations into environmental incidents that took place on sites, using the investigation procedure looking at all areas of the project from pre-construction to construction ensuring that the root cause of the issue was found. To ensure similar issues do not take place again I undertook multiple stand-downs on site and delivered TBT and alerts to the site teams.
  • Ensuring compliance and the correct data is submitted for our carbon strategy and the sustainability tool. Liaising and implementing innovative carbon saving strategies on site to reduce the carbon impact.
  • Coordinated and prepared all noise, waste and water resource consents i.e. Schedule 33s, Sections 61s.
  • Liaised with regulatory bodies to provide site progress updates and demonstrate consent compliance.
  • Assisted site teams and subcontractors in implementing standards through provision of advice and, preparation and delivery of training sessions and Toolbox Talks.
  • Reviewed construction documentation i.e. WPPS, RAMS and ITPs against standards and best practice.
