Care lead on nights. I'm trained to give out medication. I work in a small team on nights working with permanent staff and agency workers. I complete care plans and staffing levels. I deal with all aspects of the working environment and I'm also hands on working with my team delivering person centred care to vulnerable adults with dementia and focusing on montessori. Promoting independence and dignity to our residents and making sure health and safety is followed. Dealing with end of life care and arranging with the correct procedure what I'm trained to follow. Full checks on our residents by hourly to 2 hourly checks and making sure the home is safe and that all staff work to our best ability to give the best outcome for the home. Arranging GP visits /doctors/ nurses /111 for advice or follow ups. Arranging staff cover when someone rings in sick. Firewarden duty's. Willing to go the extra mile and make a difference to residents and my role.
