During my time with Bristol airport, in the control centre, I have gained valuable experience working a high-pressure safety critical environment, it is an a administrative and reactive role dealing with the ongoing running of the airport and things that my go wrong along the way and being able to problem solve efficiently and effectively. It requires clear, consistent communication with high attention to detail and the ability to take in information constantly and reacting to it with the next steps needed.
I can take over 100’s of call everyday from minor issues to emergency line calls, this can be anything from a passenger breach or an aircraft emergency, this has refined my attention to detail making me hyper aware of the importance of all the information of the ongoing issue, this is a skill that helps me understand what’s going on at every point and what I may need to assist in coordinating going further, it has also been helpful to other departments working within the airport that need to understands what happened when and I can provide all that information easily after it has been stood down.
