Myself and my wife became trained Foster Carers in September 2019.

We looked after numerous children in our 4years fostering.

As part of the care of the children it meant a lot of driving around the county of Gwent.

Six years service as a uniformed officer and 24yrs as a Detective. As part of my role as a detective I had a very high security clearance to look at sensitive material.

I was a qualified police driver. I have driven all over the UK as part of that job. I have an extensive knowledge of South wales and surrounding areas.

• Aided investigations through strategic interviewing and statement taking of victims, suspects, witnesses and informants.
• Gathered evidence carefully at crime scenes, enforcing forensic procedure adherence for accuracy.
• Developed community knowledge to identify and address at-risk individuals and locations.
• Assessed and verified information given in victim and witness statements to improve investigation workflow.
• Produced comprehensive crime reports with meticulous attention to detail.
• Maintained strict confidentiality through careful and correct storage of case documents, in line with internal policies.
