During my time at Alpha Electrical my main duties were working on domestic properties on new build properties completing first and second fixes from 2/4 bedroom properties. Within a month of starting my employment I was given my own drawings and wiring diagrams and was entrusted to complete these project requirements whilst working on my own. I also shadowed a few commercial projects whilst working with this company.

I was transferred to this company as the company was successful in winning the Flagship Housing Contract from my previous employers PROLEC. I carried over my experience and continued to carry out Electrical installation condition reports inline with the current BS7671 and repaired existing systems and replaced malfunctioning parts was able to demonstrated knowledge of safety protocols and industry best practices testing electrical installations for performance and functionality diagnosing and tested wiring faults, recording details for traceability and documented completed work to company standards.

I shadowed qualified electricians to understand electrical installation, repair and maintenance tasks. My first project was on Bristol House HMO building first fixing, I then worked on various commercial and domestic projects one of which being a commercial unit where I used various different containment such as Galvanised Tray, Girder Clips and Plastic Conduit. I worked on Flagship Housing and Norwich City Council contracts where I carried out Electrical Installation Condition Reports which changed regularly. I have a wide knowledge of coding and what may or not comply with the current BS7671. On these contracts I learnt about occupied rewires and performed the remedial to the clients requests and engaged with clients/tenants daily.
