Project Support Engineer

Working on the T.48 and T.47 luxury electric SUVs in the Body Structures team, focusing on a patented aluminium extrusion body with composite strengthening panels. We are about to complete the initial mule phase and push toward XP release.


Key responsibilities within the teams:

  • BoM creation with Cost Mass and ETRS tracking.
  • Supplier relations and quotations
  • Leading manufacturability meetings.
  • Handle quotes from suppliers.
  • Pre-release drawing checker for the team.
  • Weekly structure review with the CAE team


Key Achievements:

  • Migrated BoM to Smartsheets with automated KPI tracker.
  • Organized and attended Front and rear CMS crash tests and correlation with CAE
  • Granted Pre-release drawing checker responsibility.

Extra-curricular activities:

Formula student

During my final year of study, I took on the role of Vice Team leader for my university Formula Student team DMURacing. My role was split into the Vice Team lead of the ICE team and the team lead for the Concept EV.

Key responsibilities:

  • The leader of the concept EV design team. Resolved packaging issues and helped guide other designers.
  • The sole designer of the concept EV spaceframe and Rear subframe.
  • Completed business presentations and other forms of documentation for both teams.
  • Presented EV design presentation at the competition.
  • Responsible for the assembly of bodywork on the ICE car and assisted lower-year students in fabricating parts.
  • Assisted in managing the team's workload at the competition alongside the ICE Leader.

Key Achievements:

  • Finishing in 6th out of 105 teams at FSUK2022
  • Being the first team to have the vehicle fully scrutinised and all drivers passed safety checks

Volunteering:

Residential leader – NCS, Summer 2019

During the summer break between sixth form and university, I enrolled as a vice team leader for the National Citizen Service. In this role, I lead 14 youths, ages 16 and 17, through a 3-week residential program. The groups were randomly allocated, so creating a friendly environment was critical.
