As a Class 2 Lorry Driver, I was responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of medicine across various hospitals and businesses around Central London, Maidstone, Dartford, Gatwick, and Brighton. I operated both manual and automatic class 2's and have extensive experience in loading and unloading lorries in tight congested areas. I am also experience in driving in tight places such as Edenbridge. This role significantly enhanced my driving skills and deepened my understanding of logistical operations, contributing to my overall expertise as a reliable and efficient Class 2 Lorry Driver.

I was promoted to 2nd in command in the warehouse, responsible for managing shifts and ensuring smooth, timely operations. I oversaw the unloading of parcels from arriving lorries into the conveyor system and ensured correct placement in bays for van drivers. I managed employee schedules, addressed warehouse issues, and escalated them as needed. Additionally, I was trained in first aid, fire safety, and parcel repair, maintaining high safety standards and reporting near-misses. My tenure required making tough decisions to ensure efficient, secure parcel delivery. Often acting as the floor manager, I enabled the main manager to focus on other areas.

I worked as a van driver for Krispy Kreme through a van driving agency, where I primarily restocked Krispy Kreme cabinets at various supermarkets in North Kent, Crawley, and Central London. Additionally, I delivered tyres for Stapleton Tyres to garages in Crawley, Osted, Central London, and Gravesend. My experience with Interaction Recruitment provided valuable insights into driving jobs, helping me prepare for obtaining my Lorry Driving Class 2 license.

I received extensive training in food handling and proper hygiene techniques, ensuring that food was neatly placed into numbered cages in stores. I operated a Pedestrian Pallet Powered Truck (PPPT) to accurately distribute products into specific cages. Additionally, I was trained to handle Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as the low-level picker Jungheinrich ECE 310, and back-loaded temperature-controlled trailers. I ensured trailers were at correct temperatures and cages were securely strapped. Furthermore, I operated a crane-like machine within the depot for battery replacement on the MHE I used.

I initially joined the company as an agency temporary staff member. However, my initiative and ability to quickly learn new tasks led to my swift transition to full-time employment. In my role, I began by efficiently stacking parcels from trailers and organizing them in designated bays for drivers to load into their vans. Additionally, I took on responsibilities such as managing the high-value section, manually unloading trailers, and overseeing the end of the conveyor belt, known as the dump chute
