After completing my masters degree in sports business management from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2021-2022 I was able to return to Everton in 2023 to work at the academy in the recruitment department in talent identification. There I have been able to refine my communication skills and my ability to work within a team in a high pressure work environment by working to identify and recruit players for the club's academy.

• I worked at Everton football club becoming the first student from my university to work at Everton as part of the university degree I did at Bournemouth University. It was highly productive and rewarding experience. The club offered me the opportunity after being in contact with them to join as part of the club's academy as academy scout. I also obtained the level 2 talent identification qualifications whilst working at the club. The club trained me and gave me responsibilities and tasks related to the job role and and educated me on the proper code of conduct on how to be a professional football scout. The club also enhanced my talent identification knowledge about the job role by sending me out to watch youth matches at grassroots level and by observing and analyzing the clubs academy youth team matches across different age groups. The club also provided me with training and qualifications in the form of professional courses as stated previously. It was an incredible opportunity to learn and develop at a top level academy. The club offered me the opportunity to return and to continue working with them after completing my final year at Bournemouth University. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic which started in early 2020 just as I was graduating, I was not able to return to Everton due to the sports industry being on lockdown at that moment.

• The job was a short term university work placement at The Stats Zone which provides sports analytics and data statistics services. It was a rewarding learning experience after one of the company´s founders offered me the opportunity to work for him at the company's head office based in Media City UK in Salford Quays/ Manchester. I learned a lot whilst completing part of my university placement year at The Stats Zone. The main job role was a project which was to do a performance analysis project for the company. The project was based on applying performance analysis and sports psychology principles to games of a local, semi professional football club in Manchester. It was a short term project during the 2018/2019 football season which lasted from October 2018 to the spring of 2019, it was an interestingly.

• I worked in hospitality at a well known, exclusive restaurant and club venue in the heart of Sydney's business center that was part of the privately held company Merivale based in Sydney, Australia. I was mainly involved in the hospitality and entertainment sectors whilst living and working in Sydney. My job roles included assisting the bartenders when they needed assistance whit bar stock and looking after the maintenance of the clubs and restaurants common areas as well as the wellbeing of the club guests and also coordinating with the clubs security team to assure that safety of the venue was always maintained to high standards.

• Lantmännen Agro Oy. as a business is an agricultural cooperative as well as being a Northern Europe's leader across multiple different sectors such as, bioenergy, agriculture, machinery and food products. The company currently has over 10.000 employees across more than 20 different countries. I spent just under one year at one of the company´s main factories based on the outskirts of the capital city, Helsinki. The job roles were multiple and diverse from operating large scale machinery to typical warehouse operative duties such as working on the product assembly line, picking and packing products, wrapping them up on pallets and by machine, checking, counting and organizing stock. The job role also included handling and receiving deliveries and product labelling along with many other job tasks that are typical to the warehouse and factory environment.

• I was still attending college at the time in Helsinki, Finland. In the summer of 2011 I worked at the Finnish owned cruise ship company, Eckerö Line. The cruise ship makes routes mainly between the two capital cities of Finland and Estonia, Helsinki and Tallinn. The cruise ship also has services and routes between Finland and Sweden but the cruise ship I worked on for this summer was mainly just routes between Finland and Estonia. I worked as cruise ship worker and the job roles where diverse since at times the job role included working at the cruise ship restaurant as server, other times I would be working in the ships storage units moving products and other times at the bar and in the duty free ship store. It was one of the most diverse jobs I ever had and only during the summer since it was in between academic years.
