Skills

Leadership

  • Achieved Senior Air Cadet level and the Silver leadership qualification at the Royal Air Force Air Cadets
  • I am one of the youngest players in the Woodford RFC’s senior team, as after their coach watched me play he was impressed with my ability to lead and adapt under pressure

  • Made myself a leaflet to do little jobs for neighbours as I wanted to have more economic freedom and did these jobs while still doing all of the commitments mentioned above

Teamwork

  • I have been part of a rugby team from the age of 5 and have learnt how to work well as a team
  • I was part of the drill team at the Royal Air Force Air Cadets where I exercised discipline and followed the commands of my flight sergeant
  • During field exercises with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, where we were given military 48 hour ration packs and put in the woods, I helped my team complete objectives which required an immense amount of problem solving and planning as well as the ability to swiftly resolve any conflicts

Affiliations

  • I completed the Future Leaders Programme which allows students in post 16 education to help better their skills, both in the workplace and in life
  • I was in my school’s debate final, debating about whether the NHS should be privatised.
