Personal Statement

I have almost 50 years work experience between both the Manufacturing sector and Education working with a range of age groups from high school pupils to senior citizens in Mentoring roles, Team leading roles and Team player roles.

In manufacturing I worked with and led teams in pursuit of output and quality targets and objectives in the build and test stages of the company products beginning as a production operator but climbing to promotion ladder to Supervisory level.

In the care sector I was employed as a Senior Support Worker working with adults with Autism and/or Head injury in both residential set ups and service users own homes prompting daily tasks and routines and promoting social inclusion.

In Education I worked in a local high school with pupils with learning disabilities supporting them in accessing the school curriculum. I also ran various sporting groups within the department to promote endeavour and teamwork and was successful particularly with our football team at both regional and national high school events organised by Fife Disability Sport and Disability Sport Scotland.
