needs. Trained in specialist tasks including Oral suctioning, oxygen usage, pep mask, moving and handling, seizure management including administering rescue medication, diabetes management and insulin
administering, epipen trained, epilepsy management and medication administering. I have also gained a CACHE Level 2 Certificate in
Understanding Autism.
Supervising of pupils during class, lunchtime and playground time . Escorting pupils to other schools during their transition period.
Handling of pupils sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner. Handling or assisting with any other issues or
problems that may arise during day to day work. Have gained knowledge regarding different methods of communication required
for various pupils. Gained experience in writing of Social stories to help a pupil to understand or help in an issue they may be
experiencing. Learning from other members of staff how to deal with certain situations that may escalate quickly. Work well in a
whole team approach as well as experience in working 1:1 and 2:1 teams. Extending my knowledge of Visuals and use of Makaton
for communicating with the pupils
