Research

Gained Good Clinical Practice certification, and have joined the paediatric research nurses at YDH and RUH to contribute to numerous studies as a research assistant, including:

  • BACHb - national open-label randomised clinical trial of respiratory support in infants with acute bronchiolitis
  • DIvO - national open-label trial comparing the difference in positive predictive value for diagnosing congenital cataracts in neonates using ophthalmoscopy and infrared digital imaging

Hobbies

I am able to maintain a healthy work-life balance, using hobbies to regulate stress such as:

  • Piano - grade 8 qualification and virtuoso performer
  • Athletics - represented Bristol and Avon Athletics Club at national finals
