• Having achieved the position of foreman I went on to start my own landscape gardening business. For 2 years I devoted 2 days a week working with a building firm as a general builder to gain further experience.

• During my apprenticeship I was instructed on all aspects of industrial landscaping as well as spending 18 months working alongside the companies masonry specialist who taught me ornamental masonry work.
