My main role for the last 3 years has been Service Engineer at Gentek. We have been contracted by a very large Hotel chain and looked after their hotels all over the country. I have generated a huge amount of work from the hotels I serviced because my knowledge of the industry.

I have been to many call outs to find and rectify faults on different fire alarm systems.

I have been trained on site working alongside my employer and for the last 13 years carrying out installations in Schools, Shops, Factories, Multiple Hotel Groups, Care Homes, Council flats communal areas and inside flats, Pubs, Sealife Centres, Superstores and many Holiday Resorts.

• Performed 6 month emergency light service and fire alarm service. Replaced devices where needed.
• Installation of additional devices that were needed to meet regulations.
• Assessed building proposals against safety and planning laws to maintain project compliance.
• Promoted safer working environment by educating staff on proper use of fire alarm systems.
• Maintained up-to-date knowledge of latest fire safety regulations, delivering compliance in all projects undertaken.
• Collaborated closely with other engineers, ensuring effective team work on larger projects.
• Installed new fire alarm systems for enhanced building safety.

• Ensured compliance with British Standards by conducting regular system inspections.
• Installed complex wiring systems for commercial buildings.
