Why do I want to work at Barton?

I am keen to work as part of the fire crew at Barton aerodrome in order to develop my skill and expertise in the aviation field, learning different aspects of aviation, such as keeping the aerodrome safe and the day to day tasks which keep an aerodrome operational, whilst also developing my skills and expertise as a student pilot.

Working towards my PPL has given me many valuable skills such as:

• Experienced in fueling and refueling aircraft in accordance with safety and operational procedures.

Furthermore, flying out of Barton aerodrome since 2023 has given me a in-depth knowledge of aerodrome operations while completing my PPL exams including topics such as Air law, Human performance, Operations and many more have given me key skills that will help me work apart or a fire crew.

• My interest in health and fitness including running and weight lifting would ensure I am physically able to partake in this role.
