I have worked hard and applied myself in whatever job has come my way and I believe I still have a lot to contribute to any employer.
Responsible for the training and examining of pilots on Boeing 737 aircraft. Duties carried out in classrooms and state of the art flight simulators. Pilots would range from cadets straight out of flight school to experienced Captains upgrading to Training Captains and Examiners. In these duties I was qualified and had full Civil Aviation Authority clearance.
Joining as a First Officer on the Boeing 727, I progressed first to Captain and then Training Captain on the Boeing 737 aircraft. My duties were that of a commander on passenger services throughout Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Additionally, I was responsible for the training and periodic testing of junior pilots and experienced commanders, on the aircraft itself and on Company flight simulators and in classrooms.
Captain of Bell 212 & Sikorsky S76 helicopters engaged on North Sea oil & gas exploration and production. Additionally my duties involved training and checking commanders and less experienced pilots on the actual aircraft on real time operations.
I joined the Royal Air Force as a trainee pilot in the rank of Officer Cadet. I qualified and served in several roles and saw operational service overseas. I achieved the rank of Flight Lieutenant.
General drawing office work involving modifications to light/medium paper converting machinery.
Trained in use of machine tools, sheet metalwork and welding. Assisting in maintenance of paper making and converting machinery. Some shift work was involved and also part-time study at Technical College.
I really enjoy driving all types of vehicles and always have I have a clean driving licence for cars and motorcycle My communication skills are good and I have reasonable IT skills using an iPad Timekeeping is always one of my priorities I can converse in Italian and French to a reasonable standard
