Seconded to NHSE 0.15 WTE as advanced practice training practice director (TPD) in neonates, midwifery, children and young people for NHSE (East of England) Jan–Mar 2025 and Sep 2025-Oct 2026.

The role utilises clinical expertise alongside academic teaching and learning creation, design and delivery. Working across pre and post registration education to sustain the highest standards of nursing excellence including leading on the pre-registration paediatric advanced clinical assessment module. The post includes nursing simulation lead role and interim safeguarding lead (children). • The role encompassed working as an advanced nurse practitioner across paediatric intensive care, high dependency and the cardiac ward.

• A paediatric advanced nurse practitioner and strategic leadership MSc and a post-graduate certificate in non-medical prescribing was completed part time during this employment.
