I started off as an Administrative Officer from July 2020 - June 2023 when I got a promotion to Executive Officer, which is my current role.

As an AO I was part of a small team working to progress new claims, including and not limited to: monitoring new claims, booking appointments for those that needed them, conducting appointment to verify ID and other documents, sending and replying to journal messages, monitoring inboxes and responding to emails. As the only full time member of this team, a large amount of the work fell to me.

As an EO I am a work coach within the jobcentre. I conduct face to face, phone and video appointments with a variety of claimants with the ultimate goal of finding them work, more work or better work. I also handle vulnerable claimants of all ages and help people through the health journey if they are unable to work. On top of this I also do a lot of background admin work to help the office stay on top of different To-do's and tasks, and I complete little projects set for me by management when required.
