Having recently retired from a career in nursing, I am looking to work part time in hospitality, preferably as waitress in a cake/coffee shop.
I am a hard working, loyal and dedicated mature lady. I feel my caring and friendly personality would be well suited for this kind of work.
Although I have no previous experience in hospitality, I am ready and willing to learn. I bring with me many transferable skills and can communicate well at all levels, having dealt previously with clients of all ages and dispositions.
I am available for work immediately, am flexible and due to my age, do not pay N.I contributions.
I would be very grateful if you would consider me for any vacancy you may have in the near future. I believe I would fit into any team and would love the opportunity to join you.
Worked as part of a team to deliver specialist end of life care to patients approaching end of life in the community. My role demanded excellent communication skills to meet the needs of people in need of support, guidance and advice.
I worked autonomously whilst in patients' homes assessing them clinically, psychologically and socially. I worked autonomously by prescribing medications to make them comfortable and always prioritised their needs above any other demands.
As a specialist nurse, I played a lead role in educating other professionals and helping to nurture/develop new staff. I was proud to be part of a happy, productive team with very high professional standards.
I am a healthy, active lady with many interests.
As a proud, devoted grandma I love spending time with my little ones.
As a longstanding, passionate Newcastle United season ticket holder, I attend every possible game (and suffer the consequences).
I love walking and cycling along our beautiful coastline in South Shields.
