i volunteered here from the age of 10 as i was already having lessons here i would work here every weekend and work long days doing duties such as turning out horses bringing them in and grooming and tacking up ready for lessons and even on the younger kids lessons i would lead the horses. i also did yard duties such as mucking out and squaring the muck heap off and leaving the yard in a prestige condition. i was also involved in one of the horses training to become a riding school pony.

in my current job i work with stallions, broodmares, foals and competition horses giving basic care in a timely matter but also effeciently. i've been giving the responsibility and trusted to walk stallions when just coming of box rest and dealing with a heated situation in a carmly and safe matter. i've also had the role of keeping the competion horses in work when the rider had been injured. i have also have experice with diong the breakers and has succefully broken a horse it with nothing but supervision from my employer. also in this job i have been trusted to manage whole yard when employer has been gone at shows and training camps. i have been took on many show trips such as burhley stallion parade to furfill all groom duties and understand the work ethic.
