Consultant - Hardware, Firmware and Production

Chelsea Fottball Club (Digital Ventures Division)
London, Greater London
10.2019 - 03.2022

Chelsea Fotball Club.

Chelsea was working on a complex product that involved Hardware and Firmware. I was brought in to solve several issues on the then-current design. I was initially hired on a 6-month contract and remained with them for over two years.

The product presented several interesting hardware challenges, which were successfully addressed, enabling it to progress through to production test shots.

Unfortunately, with the change in the football regulations and the parting of the main shareholder at Chelsea, this project was placed on indefinite hold.

Director of Technology Europe.

Performance Designed Products purchased my company, In2Games and requested that I join them as European Director of Technology.

Answering directly to the CEO, I manage a team of professionals in the UK, the US and the Far East.

Examples of Achievements within PDP:

  • Created the base technology for OEM customer (Disney), which generated in excess of US$500 Million for PDP
  • Developed technologies and products for OEM customer (Lego), resulting in a continuing revenue stream in excess of US$10 Million / Annum for PDP
  • Designed and created numerous production line test systems and created the RFID production system for the Lego production line
  • Creation of a system that brings back "light-gun" technology to the users that has just gone into production. Estimated sales of this technology are between 1 million and 1.5 million units per annum initially.
