My main duties within this role was to work for Advantage Cruise & Holidays dealing with Travel Agencies within the consortium. Duties was to book cruises and land based holidays over the phone or through email communications. Any changes to the bookings were dealt with by us including flight,cruise,transfer and hotel changes.

Still employed here but looking at a change because my lifestyle has changed as used to go on holiday 3+ months a year but had enough of travelling.

Flexible working hours are no problem as I have worked from home for over 20 years , have no children and no restrictions.

I get along with all the agents (approx 700) as like being supportive and helping agents as have lots of travel experience as travelled all around the world

Took on B&B in October 2019 as we were looking for something different even though I was working for Fulfil4U at the same time.

Duties included welcoming guests , cooking morning meals and cleaning the rooms .

Loved the fact that we were meeting all different types of people but only for a short time. . Just as we were gearing up for out first season COVID arrived . In between the outbreaks we managed to be full all of the time and busy . At the end of the second full year we decided to move on as we had 11 weeks of holidays and cruises booked so couldnt combine the life we wanted with the busyness of a BB.

Additional Information

I have worked from home for over 20 years and always worked in travel because I love holidays and talking about them . A few months ago my wife and I decided to start doing less holidays and cruises as we have travelled enough. I still want to work in a travel related company but dont feel the need to continue with what I am currently doing as I was always looking for my own holidays. I may be older than some of the candidates applying for this role but what I like in youth I more than make up in experience, committment and personality
