  • I currently manage large, complex connectivity projects with TCV up to £5 million as part of a programme or a standalone. Most projects are non standard but form part of IPVPN, LAN, WAN, SD WAN and Wi-Fi. The main forefront of my role as a project manager is to ensure I have good key relationships with my customers
  • As well as delivering I have ensured that my projects are delivered on time and to a good quality ensuring risks and issues are well managed.
  • I have delivered additional revenue by driving change in my projects, identifying opportunities to up-sell and drive initial works.
  • I have a strong commercial acumen and have in depth experience of managing T&M projects. I ensure that the project budgets are managed well, avoiding margin or revenue loss

  • I worked in the governance function of Lifecycle Management for Vodafone UK. This was a completely new function within Vodafone. I was tasked to set up all processes, reporting and governance meetings to shape the team
  • This included managing documentation stores, creating a dashboard and governance database
  • I managed all customer and internal network devices and reviewed their lifecycle status. This included Transmission, PE, CE routers and LAN switches I ensured that all devices' software is in support and was on a version with minimal security vulnerabilities. I produced monthly reporting for Senior Management and external customers so that they were made aware of the shape of their estate
  • Another main part of my role was to respond to vulnerability scans from security and to manage the planning and implementation of bulk configuration changes and IOS upgrades through a project implementation team.

  • My role in Vodafone UK was an essential Project Management role to ensure mobile base stations are delivered and signed off as part of a multi-million pound programme. I was responsible for the acceptance piece of the programme and ensure all base stations were ready for sign off into the business. This included ensuring handover packs were submitted and approved, onsite audits were completed, quality defects onsite were resolved and sites were CDM compliant.
  • My main key responsibilities were as follows:
  • Approving and submitting PO requests from vendors to fix post- delivery issues, reporting to senior management on a weekly basis and attending reviews on progress, hosting governance reviews with vendors and driving them to deliver the numbers for acceptance and challenging on why numbers aren't being delivered against forecast
  • I also drove down cost and improved and changed processes in my area to ensure simplification and that the project came to a close as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • In addition to my role I also completed additional small work packages with suppliers and liaised with many internal and external stakeholders to ensure the work packages were completed on time, signed off by the business, to budget, and of an outstanding quality.

  • The Estates department was part of Radio Operations to ensure that all estates issues are reduced and driven effectively. ran long term improvement plans with vendors to drive access improvements and review their performance. I delivered major projects which affected the estate for example, lease renewals, site security and landlord engagement initiatives. My role was to also act as an escalation point for any operational issues in relation to access for 3rd parties and internally within Vodafone. I also managed the relationship between the delivery and operational organizations to ensure processes are adhered to and the relationship between Vodafone and the Landlord was kept strong. I reported on performance and statistics to Vodafone Senior management and analysed trends. I picked up on these trends and drove long term process improvement and get well plans. Another aspect of my role which was very important was to identify risks and drive those through and offered solutions to resolve these.
