Hi, I’m

Stephanie Archer

Summary

I am a dedicated, committed, enthusiastic, and level-headed person. In circumstances that others might consider challenging, I am able to maintain composure and productivity. I value being caring, compassionate, committed, and having good communication skills when working with colleagues and clients as I feel it is a vital for any workplace. I’m passionate about providing a good service to others.

During placements as a student nurse I gained a great quantity of knowledge and skills that I can bring to any service providing care to the public. I have full comprehension of the responsibilities of good quality care, am able to take accountability, can ensure jobs are done to a high standard, and much more.

Examples of skills I obtained are efficient communication, skilful teamwork, impeccable organisational skills, good leadership skills, effective decision-making, amongst others. Acquiring this knowledge and over three years in different settings has built me up professionally and made me a respectable professional, who understands how to recognise and excel at the job in hand.

Alongside my time in practice as a student nurse, I volunteered at care home where clients had dementia, and at a nursery with adaptions to serve those children that had special needs, and a project dedicated to providing tailored information to those with educational disabilities. Information ranged from physical exercises, nutrition to sexual health. These experiences helped me to fully understand what it means to provide a service of care, especially to those who can be vulnerable.

This is a career I would love to pursue, because I feel I can really strive to provide immaculate care for others. This will contribute to giving them the best possible outcome, whether that be shedding light onto a new matter, tailoring care to their needs or providing care to assist them in gaining or regaining independence.

All these experiences have provided skills and knowledge ready-equipped for providing care to others. I’m hard-working and driven to provide excellent quality care to those who need it. I know when working I will be diligent and assist my colleagues in giving a good service. Knowing that I am assisting someone in making their life a little better is my primary motivation, which I endeavour always to do.
