Deputy manager in a 7 bed service for individuals living with autism, learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviour. As deputy manager I have worked hard with the registered manager and staff to achieve organisational goals and also to support our residents to achieve their own personal goals, aspirations and have the best quality of life. I have been responsible for the day to day running of the home and also aspects such as ensuring high quality care, ensuring sufficient and safe staffing, management of budgets and resources and ensuring compliance within internal and external regulatory requirements. I have been responsible for carrying out the above supporting the registered manager but also, on occasion in the absence of a manager during my time in this role. During my time in this role I have also been responsible for supporting sister home Cherry Tree house, more so recently in the absence of a deputy manager, I have been working with the manager and offering support to residents and staff allowing me to build positive relationships with staff, residents and their families.

During my time as Registered Manager I was subject to two regulatory inspections to which I achieved the following ratings from CQC: Ashlee- Good in all areas Aug 2019 & Camden- Good in all areas Sep 2019
