Accomplishments

Since March 2025, I have been working towards my Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award. I successfully completed a challenging 4-day expedition in North Wales, which taught me tenacity, resilience, and teamwork. Through my volunteering with litter picking at my cadet squadron, I've developed a strong sense of responsibility and commitment. The DofE experience has helped me build a wide range of skills, including adaptability, initiative, emotional intelligence, digital literacy, physical stamina, cultural awareness, critical thinking, and leadership. These qualities have prepared me well to take on new challenges and succeed in any job or workplace environment.

Affiliations

  • I enjoy creative hobbies like crocheting and diamond art painting, which help me develop patience and focus. Reading is a big passion of mine, I love exploring a variety of genres, especially romance. I'm also fascinated by history, science, and psychology, always eager to learn how the world and people work.
  • I've been a cadet at 1159 Edmonton Squadron for around three years, developing discipline, teamwork, and leadership through activities like drill, first aid, navigation, fieldcraft, shooting, and radio communications. I've also gained skills in communication, problem-solving, and organisation by taking part in community service, ceremonial duties, and outdoor exercises. These experiences have prepared me well for any fast-paced and challenging work environment as well as necessary life skills.
