- I first gained experience in this role commentating on an event held in commemoration of my friend, Daniel Scott, who passed from epilepsy last year
- Due to my performance at this event, I was asked to commentate at another charity football event held at Collingwood College, a football game that continues for 24 hours
- Both events raised thousands of pounds for their respective charities/
- I was also happy to have the chance to develop my skills as a public speaker.

- After leaving the job to come to Durham, I was given the opportunity to return to work whenever I could
