Working at Primo Cafe, I learned a lot of skills used to help give exceptional service to customers and work with a challenging team. In this job, I acquired first aid training and health and hygiene training and that's something I've been able to take with me into future work. I was able to work as a server and barista and get the best of both worlds on floor work and consistent beverage making. i was able to make great connections with customers and staff and maintained excellent guest satisfaction by providing attentive, proactive and helpful service. i was also able to memorise the complete menu and offered guests knowledgeable suggestions. this then enabled me to secure the assistant supervisor position.
When working at Go Paintball London I was given the great opportunity to work with other Marshals in a big team. During my time I advanced my skills in customer service and confidence when speaking to members of the public. As a Paintball Marshal, you must learn a range of speeches you need to execute to the public. At Go Paintball I have been promoted to head reffing and running my own games games. This is a big responsibility as you must assess games, time games, look out for any safety hazards and be available to help the customers during and after the games. This aspect of the job helped me become more assertive and authoritative in everyday situations. I have taken a lot of team skills from this job and have been able to find ways to work by myself efficiently when needed.
