Following intense interventions and history checks in February 2025, I passed a fostering board to become a kinship foster carer, along with my partner. We are currently looking after a brother and sister, aged 14 and 12, and following a court order, we have them both until they are 18 years of age.
Started working for All Wales Ambulance Service Transporting patients to and from either home, hospitals, care homes to any appointments they needed to attend, My daily duties would assist of checking and preparing the ambulance prior to starting the day ensuring all apparatus onboard such as wheelchair, stretcher, Oxygen, AED, First id box and vehicle has plenty of medical protective provisions are all present onboard, whilst transfering patients to and from Appointments ensuring maintaining professional standards, patient welfare, health and safety and confidentiality are not compremised in anyway and to deal with any medical interventions if required to do so.
In September 1998, I transferred from the courts in Surrey to a newly built prison in Bridgend, South Wales. The prison opened under Securicor, but in 2004, it amalgamated with Group 4 to become the now G4S company. working within an ever-changing prison environment it had many daily challenges to overcome ensuring all aspects of professionalism, Customer services, Equality,Security, Health and Safety, KPT's, KPI's, all policies and procedures were adhered to at all times. within my 25 year service i spent the last 12 years in a managerial role as a first line manager, working in staff groups intially as 16-26 staff ensuring my unit (80-120 inmates) and visits were managed accordingly,ensuring all vital daily checks were completed according to auditable polices whilst maintaining good order and discipline at all times
Started working for Securicor in June 1995 as a Custody Officer in the local Crown and Magistrates courts; Securicor became the first private company to take control of all the Crown and Magistrates courts within the M25. I was stationed at Sutton Magistrates, which also covered Wallington Crown Court, which was an overflow court for Croydon Crown Court. My daily duties was recieving personnel from either Police stations, local prisons for court hearings when in Custody or directly from the court rooms, responsibilities whilst in custody included looking after their welfare, preparing documents for Prisons and where applicable making sure they were provided with food and fluids, abiding by all health and safety policies along with all security aspects whilst in Custody.
Worked out of a radio controlled office in Croydon, Surrey, daily Jobs where when instructed to attend local businesses to collect and deliver either single parcel items or multiple items to any destination within the UK.
