• Started as a junior design engineer using SolidWorks, to design bus parts, assemblies, arrangements & installation and detailed drawings for the interior and exterior for manufacturing purposes

• Moved up to senior deign engineer within a few years and then to principle managing a small group of engineers

• Checking engineering drawings and cad are correct before initial release
• Problem solving issues on the line to get vehicles finished and out of the door in a timely manner
• Attending input plan meetings and design and sales reviews

• Working on a variety of bus models i.e. Solo, Metrocity, Versa, Tempo, Metro Decker and Odin

• Company Overview: Car customisation company in the aftermarket business producing customised parts for a variety of cars mainly in carbon composites
• This grew from a personal project to redesign and refinish in carbon composites and other materials, the interior and parts of the exterior of his own car, which has been featured in a top car magazine (Performance French Cars)
• He then used this knowledge and experience to do work on customer’s cars
• He uses carbon composites using wet lay carbon fibre and epoxy/polyester/vinylester resins on a large scale to skin parts of the interior and exterior of cars
• He spray paints and customises engines and other parts using aerosols, spray gun paints and metal polishing aluminum
• He also builds custom in car entertainment boot installations
• All this work is done to design and build specifications
• He has the mechanical knowledge, to strip down and rebuild cars, up-rating parts, etc
• All the graphic design work i.e
• Designing the company flyers and building a web site were undertaken by him
• He strives for perfection

• This included serving drinks, exchanging money, stocktaking, stocking fridges, collecting glasses and working on the door taking entry money
• It also required communication skills with customers, some of whom were drunk and rowdy and so needed some diplomacy
