Shane Bishop

Although i technically started during july 2022, the first year of this position was with an agency. However, due to my hard work and enthusiasm the company decided to take me on full time and i have been here since. My time at Goodfish has taught me so much about the work environment. This is where i truly grew as a worker and became more confident in the workplace. I learned how to truly work as a team here and because of this i consider myself to work great as part of a team. I have good leadership skills and have a great eye for quality of produced parts due to the quality shift leader training i took part in while at this company. I have also completed many courses including health and safety, anti bullying, harassment in the workplace and inclusivity courses.

Also while here i help out wherever i can, i will assist in the quality shift leader role if needed, i help out with material top ups if low and i will always help a team member if they are struggling with any work.

During my time at DHL it taught me many things that i still use today during my work. I completed a Health and Safety training course to ensure that i can keep myself and the people around me safe in and out of work. I learned how to properly care for products and how to correctly package and stack pallets while working safely and efficiently. During my time here i also completed a pick truck training course which allowed me to operate the machinery.
