Shortly after I retired and during the first lock down, I started importing flower and vegetable seeds from Europe to sell on eBay. I soon realised that I needed my own website and created Seedah.co.uk to sell directly to the market and avoid eBay fees.

I have had to learn how to build a website, build a spreadsheet to aid stock control and keep up to date with constantly changing import regulations and DEFRA requirements.

I started going to karate classes shortly after I had been diagnosed with Menieres disease. I found it help me manage my vertigo attacks, improved my co-ordination as well as boosting my confidence. I am currently a purple belt, 6th Kyu and train in Blackfriars under the tutelage of Sensei Sanna, who is head of the International referees.

My interest in gardening came from my Mother. Like her I have a passion for growing as much food as I can. I have an 125sq m allotment where I grow vegetables all year round and at home I grow tomatoes, and soft fruit.

During my long career as a Money Broker, I chose to specialise in speaking to Scandinavian banks. Svenska Handelsbanken was my largest client and over the last 28 years of talking to your traders on the Stockholm and London desks, I have become familiar with the bank's culture and working practices.
