• I completed a total of 12 months hospital placement across internal medicine and obstetrics & gynaecology departments and I spent the rest of my GP training in general practice placement gaining valuable knowledge, skills and experience working with various teams.

Key responsibilities

• Worked under supervision of GPS and hospital consultants to deliver quality healthcare for patients.
• Conducted multiple consultations daily across surgeries, and patients' homes and care homes as well as the out-of-hours centers.

• I worked as a juniour clinical fellow in the Accident and Emergency department to support the management of patients along with consultants and other medical staff.

• Assessing, diagnosing, and initial management of patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Making clinical decisions to stabilise patients and determine appropriate next steps, including safe discharge or admission under the
  relevant specialty.
• Performing essential emergency procedures such as suturing, cannulation, and airway management.

• I worked as a medical officer in both Accident and Emergency and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

• Assessed and triaged patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical and surgical conditions
• Interpreted investigations (e.g. ECGs, blood tests, imaging) to guide management
• Stabilised patients and coordinated appropriate referrals or admissions

• I worked as a junior doctor in Internal medicine alongside consultants and colleagues to provide acute and long-term care for military officers and their families as well as members of the public.

Key responsibilities

• Managed the emergency department, making critical decisions in high-pressure situations to save lives.
• Conducted thorough patient assessments to diagnose illnesses, prescribe medication, and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Responded swiftly to cardiac arrest calls, performing CPR and life-saving interventions

• During my foundation year training, I rotated through Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Medicine and Surgery departments.

Key responsibilities

• Assessed, diagnosed, and managed patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Conducted daily ward rounds and managed the outpatient clinics alongside the consultants in charge.
• Immediate implementation of patient follow-up plans made during the ward rounds.
