I have been a GP partner at Grove health centre since June 2013, prior to which I was locum and salaried GP there.

• Introduced minor surgery and joint injections as dedicated sessions which were extremely appreciated by all age groups of patients.
• Led the multidisciplinary meetings with Care of elderly consultants, nurses, physiotherapist, occupational therapists, psychiatrists etc to provide enhanced care of patients in community.
• I took part in detect cancer early project with secondary care, and got skilled to use Dermoscopy .This assisted to detect skin cancers and by taking pictures, shared them with dermatology.
• This was much appreciated with dermatology team and helped appropriate referrals to them.
• Maintained meticulous patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Facilitated training sessions for junior doctors, enhancing their practical skills.
• I have also skilled myself in Dermatology by doing a diploma in dermatology which has reinforced my knowledge

• Company Overview: A private company as a drug and misuse clinical lead for prison service.
• I was in this post from 28th September 2009 till 14th April 2010.
• It was a very fascinating and challenging post as it was in secure environment, also working alongside CARATS, I learnt a lot about their contribution in early referral and preventing relapse in these clients.

• I pride myself in promoting use of IT in this rural setting of Brechin.
• I had additional responsibilities for the new contract- learning disability, depression, epilepsy, minor surgery audit, and care of nursing home patients.
• Being a rural setting we had Minor injuries unit and had to step in as GP with skills like suturing, acute injuries etc
• We had a community hospital where we provided care for palliative patients as well as those who were rehabilitating post op major surgeries.
