In my time at the university i have been trusted to supervise some of our apprentices, assisting with their professional development and ensuring that they work within and understand health and safety procedure.

As part of my job i ensure machinery is maintained as part of my weekly checks and encourage my colleagues to do the same.

When planning work i comply with university, local and national polices to ensure the safest outcomes.

Over a number of years i have been proactive in organising team events such as the charismas lunch to maintain moral and build connections within our team and the wider university staff.

I understand the importance of keeping up to date with all relevant training and put my self forward for all training opportunities and actively encourage my colleagues to do the same.
