I am a passionate and dedicated early career teacher with a specialism in Physical Education and a strong commitment to inclusive, child-centred learning. I have taught across KS1 and KS2 in both mainstream and SEN settings, most recently teaching Primary 6 at St Patrick's Ballygalget. I also founded and currently lead a community disability football programme for children aged 7-15, promoting physical activity, confidence and teamwork in a supportive environment. I am committed to continuous professional growth and to creating a classroom environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
For the duration of the 2024-25 academic year I have led a dynamic and supportive Primary 6 classroom, balancing academic challenge with emotional support during a key preparation year for the SEAG exam. I have developed core skills in literacy and numeracy, promoted independent learning, and built strong partnerships with parents and colleagues.
