Summary

I have twenty six years of experience working as an Activities Organiser in two Care Homes. For the last twenty years I have worked in a Care Home which specialises in looking after residents who are living with some form of dementia. I am part of the Senior Management team and orange the facilitators and volunteers assist me in providing a varied, inspiring and interesting activities programme which is tailored to the residents in my care. It has been an honour to work in this field and I enjoy my job very much. I am highly motivated and always seeking new challenges. My current job is in London and I would like to work nearer to my home in Southbourne.

It has been such an enriching experience to provide the residents in my care with meaningful engagement. Giving the residents opportunities to live well, continue hobbies they've enjoyed throughout their lives, pick up new skills and enjoy being part of a community and to have fun.
