I worked for the railway for 21 years, enjoyed my time starting as a Booking Office Clerk doing many roles within Revenue, including prosecuting fare evaders up to Revenue Protection Delivery Manager, I was driven by protecting the business monies and challenges that arose. I been away from the business for 18 months due to having a baby within Covid, like many it changed peoples lives including mine and needed that time with my child afterwards, I've continued to work self-employed as a Slimming World Consultant helping members achieve their weigh loss dreams. My passion for the Railway has never gone away, my husband still works within the business, I still have the drive, the commitment and enthusiasm.
