Summary

My extensive experience in primary and upper Key Stage 2 teaching means I possess a solid understanding of the curriculum and the developmental needs of students in primary schools. I am particularly excited by opportunities to work alongside a dedicated staff and ambitious Senior Leadership Team. My own educational philosophy of creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive is one that will be an asset to a school that shares this philosophy. I am committed to applying the latest educational research and best practices to continuously improve my teaching and pedagogy. I regularly engage with professional development opportunities to ensure I remain at the forefront of developments in education. A key strength is my ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. I am dedicated to supporting the emotional and social well-being of my students, helping them develop into confident, independent learners who feel safe and valued. My experience as Science Lead and as DSL would be attributes to a school's broad curriculum. I am passionate about encouraging a love of learning in my students and am committed to providing a rich and varied curriculum that engages their curiosity and helps them achieve their full potential. The opportunity to work in a school with subject specialists and a wide range of extracurricular activities, would be incredibly rewarding for me.
