Sara-lee Fowler

I am a Consultant Psychiatrist on the specialist register for Forensic Psychiatry with over 5 years experience working as a consultant in inpatient and community settings. I have worked in both Forensic and General Adult settings in both NHS and private hospitals.

I have experience of assessing and treating mentally-disordered offenders in a variety of forensic settings including secure hospitals and prisons. My role as a Forensic Psychiatrist has given me the opportunity to act as an expert witness, since my higher training years, providing reports for the court relating to fitness to plead/stand trial, psychiatric defenses, prognosis, and disposal recommendations. I also have experience with writing reports and giving evidence for Mental Health Review Tribunals.

I am a valued team member with good leadership and communication skills.

I am section 12 approved and am in good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
