Motivation for Nursing

My aspiration to become a nurse has been shaped by both my academic background and professional experience. Through my studies in Nutrition and Dietetics and Food Science, I developed a strong understanding of health, wellbeing, and the importance of evidence-based practice in improving patient outcomes. Working as a Care Assistant since September 2024 has further strengthened my passion for healthcare by providing firsthand experience of supporting individuals with dignity, compassion, and respect.

I am motivated to pursue the MSc Pre-Registration Nursing programme because it will enable me to combine my scientific knowledge, practical care experience, and commitment to helping others in order to become a competent, compassionate, and evidence-based registered nurse. I am particularly interested in promoting holistic care, patient wellbeing, and positive health outcomes across diverse populations.
