Strong communication skills from my experience in leadership from cadets, working at Nike and understanding how to communicate effectively with clients from my sports massage experience
Ability to work in a team, as demonstrated by all my experience and improved upon from my experience leading teams
Integrity and respect have always been values I aspire to, and my time with the Cadets has enhanced them and given me an honest, easy-to-work-with character
Working to a tight time schedule is something I am familiar with I regularly have to complete tasks in a time frame which is shorter than expected
I'm also quick to adapt to new situations, as this regularly happens at my current job and was a frequent occurrence during cadets
In cadets, I received a medal for resiliency where I walked 80 miles across two days on concrete, motivating those around me and looking out for everyone during the event to ensure we succeeded as a team.
In cadets, I was also awarded a certificate to recognise the work I had done to develop those in my section through leadership, adaptation to their needs and success with challenging safeguarding-related issues.
Cadets (3 years)
As a cadet, I led a section of 30 cadets and developed two other leaders. I supervised these cadets directly, ensuring their development was as good as it could be, managing and safeguarding issues, resolving conflicts and completing paperwork.
