I’m a hardworking, reliable, and outgoing individual with a strong work ethic, I have experience across a range of roles, including bartending and Event setup at The Fox Inn, where I developed excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. I’ve also gained hands-on experience through labouring, groundwork, and electrical cable work, demonstrating physical resilience, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Outside of work, I’m an active football player, which has helped me build strong leadership, discipline, and team-building skills. I take pride in maintaining a professional attitude in everything I do, whether that’s working under pressure, supporting my team, or ensuring high standards of service and presentation.

During my time at the Anchor inn, I worked across both the bar and kitchen, gaining valuable experience in customer service, cash handling, and working to high standards of hygiene and accuracy. While working at the pub, I completed my Level 2 food hygiene qualification, demonstrating my ability to follow procedures and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety. As the pub operated on a cash-only bases, I was regularly trusted with handling significant amounts of cash. This required a high level of accuracy and responsibility, including correctly calculating bills, checking notes, taking payments, and providing the correct change. I regularly carried out calculations mentally and had to remain focused to ensure transactions were accurate and any cash discrepancies were avoided. Working in a busy local pub also again strengthened my communication and customer service skills. I regularly interacted with a wide range of customers, including local residents and regulars, building positive relationships and providing friendly, professional service. The role taught me the importance of attention to detail, reliability, accountability, and remaining calm and organised in a fast-paced environment-skills I believe are highly transferable into any field of work.
