During my 19 years as a Dental Nurse I have constantly worked on developing additional skills complementary
to my role as assistant to the Clinician and carer to the patient. I have been assured by
my colleagues that I am now competent and confident in the following areas:-
 Interpersonal skills

I easily put people at ease in what is perceived as an
environment which induces anxiety.

 Detailed record keeping

I recognise the importance of detailed record keeping
for the benefit of the patient, clinician and fellow
auxiliary colleagues.

 Treatment co-ordination

I am comfortable discussing proposed treatment plans
in detail with patients and proposing appropriate finance
options.

 Social Media Creating

I have in my current role and in previous roles taken care of the Facebook and instagram posts and come up with offers and ideas to entice new patients.

Loyal employee with solid understanding of training and mentoring employees. Dedicated team player, proactive and hands-on in task completion.

• Outside the practice, I keep life full and balanced. I’m into wild swimming, chasing that fresh-air reset that nothing else comes close to. I’m also a regular at the gym, pushing myself because I like seeing progress and feeling strong. I’ve got a 13-year-old son, so a big part of my world is being present for him, keeping up with his energy, and navigating the chaos that comes with raising a teenager. And when I’m not doing all that, I’m socialising, catching up with the people who matter, and making space for a good laugh
