I am a dedicated individual with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration, consistently demonstrating punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines. I possess excellent communication skills, facilitating effective interactions in diverse environments. I am committed to leveraging these strengths to achieve organisational goals and contribute positively to team success.
In 2022, I completed 1 week of work experience within the engineering and operations department at DP World Southampton container port. During this time I assisted skilled engineering technicians in electrical and mechanical diagnostics and maintenance repairs on mobile plant and equipment including quay side cranes and straddle carriers, which involved working at height and required thorough safety checks before being able to start the work.
I got a tour of the company and was partnered up with many different people from different departments so that I could see and understand the importance of all the roles within the port.
I work shifts as required at the Lyndhurst Nondescripts ( Private members only club) covering shifts, working the bar for occasions and events. Working as part of a small team ,working well under pressure to provide customers with beverages and food while maintaining high quality standards.
I regularly volunteer my services in maintaining the club gardens, including clearing and tidying, removal of shrubs and roots and general garden maintenance. I am confident in the safe use and machine and hand tools and importance of the use of the correct PPE.
