Working at Evri as a courier for 2 months was a big adjustment for me and at first, I had found it quite challenging, as I had to deliver over 50 parcels in a certain amount of time. However, working at Evri enhanced my skills significantly as I gained a lot from this experience, by delivering all these parcels within a strict timeframe this allowed to me to learn to stick to deadlines and consistently meeting my targets. This also ensured that I kept all customers satisfied as by keeping to my fast-paced schedule I ensured an accurate and timely service to the customers I had delivered too. My organizational skills had also become more enhanced as I had to efficiently plan out my route for the day to ensure I had reached my deadline and kept customers satisfied.

I have previously volunteered at Bute town pavilion for around a month and a half. This experience had taught me a lot in becoming a more efficiently worker as it had made me a lot harder working and attentive in how I would approach situations. My problem-solving skills had also developed as I had many difficult situations in which some customers were unsatisfied, which is where I had to find a solution. My Communications skills had also considerably improved as talking things out with my manager along with customers were often the key to becoming more efficient at carrying out my tasks. Overall, my experience volunteering was extremely beneficial towards me, and I look forward to bringing my experiences and enhancing it further at my future workplace!
