I am an organised and reliable individual with hands-on experience supporting a range of practical projects, family responsibilities, and team-based work. Through these experiences, I have developed strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to plan tasks, manage my time effectively, and adapt to changing situations.
I have supported both structured and informal projects, from helping with removals and signage work to assisting with childcare and household responsibilities. This has helped me become confident working in fast-paced environments where attention to detail, safety, and coordination with others are important.
I am keen to build on these skills through an Apprentice Project Manager role, where I can continue to learn, take on responsibility, and contribute to successful project delivery while developing my career.
I have volunteered to help family and friends with a range of practical jobs to build my experience and skills. These included: Outdoor work such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, strimming borders, laying turf, removing decking, and clearing excess soil.
Indoor work including removing wallpaper and sanding walls to prepare them for decorating.
Skills developed:
Helping my working parents with childcare for my younger siblings, including picking them up from school, making snacks, helping with homework, and taking them to activities.
Assisted family friend with their removals business, helping with house and office moves.
Completed work experience, helping with design, production, and installation of signs for local businesses.
Reason for leaving:
The work experience ended when the business experienced financial difficulties, and as a result, a permanent position was no longer available.
